The European Chapter of the Society of Wetland Scientists meet this week in Denmark
Matt Simpson is attending the annual conference of the European Chapter of the Society of Wetland Scientists (SWS), held this week at Aarhus University, Denmark. The meeting is bringing together scientists, planners and implementing agencies to look at the challenges and opportunities for wetland restoration.
The European Chapter is also holding its annual business meeting to look at the society's plans for the coming year. Matt sits on the European Chapter committee as treasurer and is working with the committee to extend membership of the society and link wetland science to practice across Europe.
